How booking works:

For all sessions (with the exception of surprise proposals), your experience is straight forward.

1. Message me and let me know what type of service you'd like (i.e. maternity/children). Include what package you are interested in (for this see my pricing page). Don't forget to include your name and the number of people in your shoot!

2. I get back to most all inquiries same day - {exluding weekends}.  I'll follow up with any questions I may have, and we will iron our the 'where' to shoot and the 'time' - I'll send you some available dates to choose from. The first is the shoot date and time - the second is a 'rain date' (in case it rains or something comes up). If you'd like to come in ahead of your shoot to try on items from my wardrobe closet at my studio, we schedule this as well. (My studio has a massive collection of items available to borrow for your shoot day, as well as a private changing room).

3. I'll send you your contract and invoice.

4. If you've selected to try on wardrobe, you'll come by my studio on your arranged day and bring along everyone who may need to try things on. If there are folks who can't make it (such as kids, etc), you can still come by and pick one or two things out to try for shoot day.

5. I'll send you a reminder a few days before our shoot which will include any do's and don'ts for day of.

On the day of our shoot, we will meet at our planned location at the time of the shoot.

This part goes pretty quick and easy! I will guide you/ your family / your kiddos/ fully in posing. I'll tell you exactly how and where to stand to get your perfect images.  And don't worry, if you're here for family/kids portraits, remember that I have three kids of my own and I've seen it all - I fully expect kids to be kids and have lot's of tricks for re-directing behavior, as well as playing fun games to get the shot, without making pictures feel like a chore for them.

6. Once we are done, I will edit your gallery. Finishing galleries can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks. During holidays it can sometimes take up to 5-6. When your images are done, I'll e-mail you a link with a password to your private gallery where you can view and download all the edited high-resolution images. You can also share this link/password with anyone else you'd like to have it. I will also send  you a separate e-mail with your small res versions that are friendly for social media. You'll be able after this to order prints or canvases, etc. through me if you'd like - or you can print them yourself elsewhere.
